Essay 4

Theory of Writing

Writing is a significant part of our lives. Learn to express knowledge in our own language. The classic masterpiece “Little Prince” makes people read a lot and can learn a lot from it. This type of classic has been translated into national languages and has been passed down to the present day. When the person who spreads the knowledge is gone, the book remains, and it is the guiding light for the young people of the future. In the writing training process, we will improve the fluency of the word, the way of expression, and the structure of the article. But in the beginning, you may encounter some problems, and my generalization ability may not meet the requirements. I often can’t grasp the key points and deviate from the main content. And, I will be tangled with which exact word to use to describe better.

When I came to the university and passed this course, I felt that there were many differences between the way the university was written and what I learned in high school. For example, in high school, I was taught that the more evidence, the more the reader can convince my article. Maybe one of the arguments I will use 4-6 pieces of evidence to support my point of view, sometimes more. The way in which evidence is interpreted is also different from what it is today. I can only pick out the critical parts of the summary, analysis, and appropriate plus my own point of view to make this evidence connect to my argument. At the university, I pay more attention to the reasons why the author gave this evidence, which allows me to understand my topic in more depth. I need to have a specific audience to better focus on a particular goal. I think these helped me very well when I was writing. While improving our writing skills, we have also improved our ability to think, organizing arguments, convincingly constructing issues, and organizing irrelevant facts into a complete, fluid and complete story. In the class, I recognize several types of writing that I have never seen before. When I was writing Essay 1, I was confused. I don’t know how to do it correctly. But when I went to Essay 2, I thought I could better grasp the audience, position, and tone.

When we were in the fast-growing information life of this era, very few people still wrote letters to their friends or loved ones before the case, but we sent the mail through the Internet at an alarming rate. We enter text messages, process emails, share our lives, and comment on others. Work and study more formal articles I will use a computer to print or use mail. But like a thank you letter or a letter to a close person, I will use handwriting. For example, when I was in the 11th grade, I went to the Queens Museum for an internship. When the internship ended, other interns and I decided to make a thank-you letter and a greeting card to express our gratitude. This makes me feel more intimate and friendly with others.
